Solidays 2016 – dimanche
Heureusement, pour les fans de foot, le match de l’Euro est diffusé sur les écrans géants de la scène Paris. Et quoi de mieux qu’une Color party, véritable bataille de poudre de peinture multicolore, pour fêter la victoire de la France ? Sinon côté musique, Le Transistor a glané la pop de Talisco, la sensation Jain, le rap américain des légendaires Cypress Hill, le poing levé de Tiken Jah Fakoly, les foutraques Naive New Beaters et le grand retour de Louise Attaque.
Talisco
La scène Domino est plutôt bien garnie, et le songwriter français mais anglophile, épaulé par un duo basse-batterie, semble hyper à l’aise. En plus, ses singles comme ‘Your Wish‘ et ‘The Keys‘, entendus dans quelques spots TV, génèrent des milliers de bras qui tournoient dans les airs. Sous le cagnard de ce dimanche, la pop sunshine de Talisco est idéale pour commencer notre journée.
Jain
La jeune française est très attendue sur la scène Bagatelle. Après une maousse acclamation accueillant les cris guerriers qui lui sont propres, Jain déboule tout sourire et déclare, émue, qu’il s’agit de sa plus grosse scène. En jouant de ses pads sequencers et samplers, elle sautille et se démène pour capter l’attention seule en scène. Ca marche plutôt bien, surtout quand elle prend des poses de vénère, qui tranchent avec son look de petite fille sage.
Pour son single ‘Come‘ qui arrive vers la fin du set, elle empoigne une guitare acoustique et part devant les crash barrières pour sampler des chants du public – puis les rejoue en boucles, même si la tonalité n’est pas vraiment juste. Puis elle enchaîne avec son autre titre phare, ‘Makeba‘ sur lequel plusieurs dizaines de milliers de fans exultent et tapent des mains. Elle file ensuite en coulisses pour revenir dans une grosse boule transparente et marcher/rouler sur le public, à la Flaming Lips… En effet, ça cartonne !
Solidarité Sida
Luc Barruet, le directeur de l’association Solidarité-Sida, arrive sur la grande scène Paris accompagné de l’éternel parrain du festival Antoine de Caunes. Ils signalent victorieusement que la France vient de maintenir sa contribution au fond mondial de lutte contre le sida. Et comme l’an dernier, l’invité de marque, Bill Gates, vient dire quelques mots sur son engagement dans cette lutte.
Cypress Hill
Anachronisme californien total : le mythique groupe de hip-hop de Los Angeles déboule juste après le speech du propret créateur de Windows. Malgré un faux départ suite à un problème de son, les deux MCs B-Real et Sen Dog se démènent de long en large sur la grande scène. Entre percus furieuses, scratchs de fou, samples de ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’… le public est à donf. Surtout que le groupe demande régulièrement de participer, comme de par exemple hurler ‘Fuck You!’, ou ‘Oh shit!‘ sur des titres éponymes. Même sans véritable actu, on s’est laissés embarquer comme dans nos teufs du collège.
Tiken Jah Fakoly
Un bon côté des Solidays, c’est l’éclectisme. L’Ivoirien fait le lien entre reggae et musique traditionnelle africaine, et de façon engagée, surtout contre les inégalités touchant les peuples africains. Et la force de cet artiste Tiken Jah Fakoly est de rassembler, touchant même les sceptiques du reggae. Vêtu d’un impressionnant habit traditionnel, il déambule sur scène avec son bâton tel un sorcier. La foule l’accompagne en dansant, notamment sur ‘Le prix du Paradis‘.
Naive New Beaters
Que ce soit question jeu de scène, avec leurs poses chelous, leurs fringues bizarres, leurs poses de guitar-hero, ou même leurs discours absurdes… Avec les Naive New Beaters, il y a toujours matière à déconner et à danser. David Boring s’exclame: “Ici à Solidays c’est la première qu’on a vu un sein : une fille qui a montré son sein !”. Le chanteur en profite pour demander aux filles de monter sur épaules des mecs pour ‘Get Love’… et la teuf de repartir de plus belle. Surtout que débarque Izia, leur fidèle pote qui interprète en featuring le puissant ‘Heal Tomorrow‘, extrait de leur nouvel album, A la folie. En plus, Izia en connaît un rayon en manières de foutre le feu : déjà adulée des Solidays, sa voix surpuissante se charge du reste.

Louise Attaque
Ces Solidays confient l’honneur de la clôture aux revenants Louise Attaque, en train d’écumer quasiment tous les festivals de France. Le groupe entre en scène sur la bande son de ‘Sunday Morning’ du Velvet Underground, puis le karaoke géant se met en marche. Louise Attaque associe subtilement ses titres les plus explosifs, comme l’ancestral ‘Ton invitation‘, à ceux de leur nouvel album, comme les très réussis ‘Anomalie‘ ou ‘Avec le temps‘. Le jeune public semble même connaître les plus anciennes chansons… En tout cas les refrains sont repris en choeur par des dizaines de milliers de spectateurs joyeux. On s’est même surpris à chanter à tue-tête, comme quand on était ado…
Que ce soit pour le concert de Louise Attaque ou celui des Cypress Hill, tout comme le festivalier moyen, ce soir, on a 20 ans.
